Camp Safety
At The Fishing Experience, everything we do revolves around safety, from boarding the vessel and demonstrating the use of safety equipment in the morning, proper equipment and fish handling and secure movement on the boat throughout our day, to stepping off the boat upon our return. The boats involved in our program undergo a voluntary safety inspection prior to camp, performed by FWC, as well as a voluntary federal license and compliance check performed by NOAA officers. All crew are USCG licensed captains, having undergone extensive Dept. of Homeland Security and FBI background checks, physicals, First Aid/CPR training, and Random Drug Testing. All credentials are available upon request.
